Im a few weeks away from achieving my goal, and that is to purchase realestate. i would like to own a few houses and rent them out. Once they are paid off, this will produce constant income. The more I save, the faster I can start seeing profit. I want to diversify but don’t know what other money making ideas I can get into.
I’m tired of working for my money, I want my money to work for me. There are way too many uncertainties in the world for me not to have a fall-back plan in place. I’ve contemplated taking out a loan at my bank and investing the money. This serves a dual purpose. I can re-establish my crappy credit and put the money I borrow to work. If anyone else has done this, please post.
Very Important goal if you rely on just a job and have no other money invested anywhere then you could be in big trouble I was laid off last year and if I hadn’t recieved unemployment I would’ve been screwed I got really scared towards the end when my unemployment almost ran out luckily I found a job in time learned my lesson though I’m making it a point to work very hard on making this goal happen very soon so I don’t have to keep all my eggs in one basket (basket=fulltime job) I’m going to try to get my business started and start saving and investing a lot in the coming months here I’m determined to make this happen soon.
Other people’s time and other people’s money.
You need to be a leader or develop leadership skills that can inspire people to donate their time to your cause.
Once I get a job this is a big goal I want to make my money work for me cause I’ve discovered that working for money doesn’t always pay off. or get you very far
I have a money market account now and a CD they earn very little money I’m gonna have to look for something more substantial, but for now it’s a start.
I’ve been reading a lot about this subject right now I’m reading rich dad poor dad it’s a pretty good book helps you rethink they way you think about money. I plan to read a bunch of books like this to get ideas to implement this myself. the best way to learn about something (ex: make money work for you) is to learn from those who have already done it.
Jobs are not reliable last year at this time I had 2 jobs and now I have 0 jobs I quit one and got laid off by the other so once I do find one of these icky things called a job I’m going to be smarter with my Money and find things to invest in and make my money grow besides just a paycheck. that is not reliable anymore
