travel for a living

I am bored with my life and want to explore more of the world and get paid well for doing so. One problem..I don’t know where to start!

i don’t mean the type of travel that brings me to 6 different cities two weeks out of the month. what i have in mind is a job that would allow me to spend a month(s) or week(s) in one general location, such as: hosting tours to italy or france, or maybe being involved with a college or university’s study abroad program.
i remember how thrilled i was to experience europe for the first time. it would be so gratifying to be able to share that with others.

I always said “If I weren’t married to … I’d be a traveling respiratory therapist.” Well, I had to put up or shut up. I got divorced awhile back and the opportunity arrived so here I go. With my soon to be new husband and two cats we’re going to live the dream! Yay!

How cool would it be for families to have lectures, behind the scenes tours, new discoveries all planned and ready for them when they go to a new state, city or country? I’m not talking Disneyland, but DC. Not Sea World, but snorkeling a coral reef. Tours are tailored and would be only a part of a family vacation or school travel. How to get started…
