My wife outfitted our hand-me-down couch with a snazzy new cover. It gave me alotta pride that her first choice was to restore rather than replace, even though she had the cash to buy a brand-new couch.
Once we get done salvaging and restoring the items on my original list, this goal will be transmogrified into a permanent family value. 1 month ago
Believe it or not, this big ball of coiled and braided Tshirts will someday be a rug. It took about 6 mos. to gather the Tshirts (6-7 large trash bags full) and about 2 mos. to sew, coil and braid them. Now I have to flatten it all out into a concentric oval pattern and sew it up, which will prob take another month of work. 2 months ago
Removed the superfluous fixtures so it would stack with my other wooden boxes and then sanded it til it looked good. 6 months ago
I recently salvaged a chicken coop that a friend was getting rid of so I’ll mark that checked. 8 months ago
