HappENEway is working hard to grow

I have no excuse for not having done this yet. 14 months ago

Well, there’s my limited free time…but other than that, I’m looking at my piano and all the music I downloaded off the net. They’re beautiful songs. I have this set to remind me, and it nags me like a bad wife. Or maybe a good one…cuz I still want to do this and I’m not removing that dang annoying little reminder. LOL Cross your fingers for me…

The Love of Music 3 years ago

I started when I was about nine or so. My mom didn’t want me to, but I begged. I took lessons for about three years. I gave it up after that, though I loved it. Now, I’m over 40, and I miss it so. I have always had a keyboard, and I did take lessons a couple years ago, but it didn’t work out very well. I need to try again.

I used to play the piano so well. Then I stopped my lessons with an amazing teacher. I took up lessons again with a teacher who was more slack, then stopped those. I am thinking of going back to my old teacher after all these years. I know that if I do I’ll play well again. It is so worth it. I miss being able to play well.

The lack of a piano to play on really makes this an unreasonable goal for now…

I think that I have to accept that this is an unreasonable goal as I no longer have the flexibility in my fingers. I should maybe be content with playing to a level that gives me enjoyment

Oh, what a dream. I have wanted to be able to play the piano all my life. I passed my grade one, but stopped because I can’t afford to buy a piano to practice on, don’t have the space for a keyboard let alone a piano and have no money for the lessons! I tinker now and again – but my dream is to be able to play Floyd Cramer’s ‘On the rebound’. If anyone has the scores for this music – please send a copy my way!!!!

I still dream about playing the piano. I make beautiful music and then I wake up. So disappointing!
