I showed my friend my tiny, embarrassing portfolio and he really liked it and completely understood how it takes a long time to progress to anything that you’re even remotely proud of.

He’s a fantastic designer and hates his earlier stuff just as much.

I’d like to have 10 Illustrator logos or designs. I can start with just making up company names and logos and drawing them out. I have 1 logo, so actually, 9 more to go.

I started with making myself a folder today. I put everything I’ve done in it. After looking at it. I only have 3 pieces that I would even show to anyone. And they’re really bad.

So it’s seriously time for an update!

I also joined a graphic design site where people critique your work. There’s some really inspiring stuff in there. 13 months ago
