Stranded...
A good friend of mine was boating recently and ran aground, the captain ruined his motors trying to power off of the shoal and they became stranded in a large channel of the Florida Keys. After some time, my frind decided to use one of his kitesurfing kites to pull the boat free, and safely to shore. He did just that, and self rescued a stranded boat with his kite.

Sooo, someone has built a seat catamaran specifically for kiting. Kick-ass, kitesailing 101.

Hawks today were apparent.
Surfing the air currents sometimes almost motionless above the trees, so beautiful.

Try not to wreck. It could shatter your pelvis, or worse. Luckily, I only pulled most of the muscles in my hip. That’s what we invented skeletal muscle relaxers for, anyway. No big ;)

My goal is to sail a boat with a kite. Possibly some sort of catamaran. A large base with an edging mechanism… It’s something I talked with the kitesurfing instructors about and I have had an epiphany. It’s a secret, but there may be some sort of wind powered sailing speed record with the combination of principles. That was the original quest, anyway. More later… Maybe someone has figured it out already, I haven’t been following that sort of news closely for the past few years. I dunno. Maybe I can learn from methods already in use…
