- Have a Lazy Sunday.
- Go for five walks of at least 30 minutes.
- Workout at two martial arts classes (Tuesday evening and Thursday evening).
- Strength training: body weight exercises, kettlebells, and stability ball at least five times this week.
- Publish a blog post.
- Finish the “About Me” section on the blog.
- Listen to 5 TED Talks.
- Restart the 28 Day Sit. (I’m leaving this on here till I do this flawlessly… I am meditating fairly regularly, even twice most days, but I am skipping one of the two daily sessions it seems at least one or two days a week).
- Restart The Artist’s Way.
- Build the shelves for the utility/laundry room.
- Not eat out at all and only eat a very simple paleo diet.
- Give Jenkins a bath.
- Make an appointment to take Jenkins to the groomer.
- Start planning the road trip I’m taking at the end of next week (leaving on May 18th).
- Earn some money on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
- Solve the Rubik’s Cube.
- Start a composting bin outside.
- Get a tub/crate that I can start putting my recyclables into.
- Take my recycling to the recycling center on Friday.
- Fix the drain pipe that is leaking slightly. (It’s a very tiny leak that is being contained so it’s not causing any damage.)
- Get my car serviced.
- Go to the lecture and group meditation session at the Zen monastery on Wednesday morning.
- Volunteer at the homeless shelter on Wednesday afternoon/evening. (I’m changing this to Wednesday because I’d like to start creating a habit of making Wednesday a day of renewal. I’d like to go to the monastery and visit with my sangha, hear the lecture, meditate with the monks/nuns and other lay practitioners, have lunch with them at the monastery, and then go the the homeless shelter and volunteer by helping prepare, serve, and clean up after the evening meal.)
- Continue to get caught up on communications (emails, texts, phone calls, comments, entries, etc).
- Be grateful, mindful, and present. 12 months ago
