I drove up to Monroe, Michigan to see the Cowboy with my bike in the back seat. We were planning on riding bikes together, since he wasn’t going to have his girls that weekend.
We ended up going to Walmart late Friday night (as I drove up in the late evening) looking for bike tubes. We couldn’t find the right ones, so we decided to go to the bike shop in the morning. I was telling him about this cute Barbie bike that his youngest daughter would love. (A. LOOOOOOOVES Barbie) The Barbie bike has a little attachment where a child can have her Barbie ride a bike with her. A. would love that. It was very funny as were walking in, a couple were walking out with the exact bike! I asked them if I could show my guy the little barbie attachment. LOL.
Another Funny thing is that we were walking around the parking lot of Walmart looking for my car. We both thought we parked right of the entrance (face the store was you are walking in.) So as we walked out to the car, we were walking around looking for my car. We were laughing as we were trying to located it. I kind was getting worried after a minute or two of looking, and then we walked to the other side of the parking lot. We had a good laugh about it. It was lovely to know that the both of us can have alot of fun laughing even in situations like that.
The next morning we went to the bike shop and asked about 26×150 tire tubes. They had them and miraculously they were cheaper then they would have been at Walmart! Surprising, indeed!
We went back to the house, and the Cowboy showed me how to change my tubes on my bike. Then we journeyed to the gas station to fill the tires and back to the house to put them on my bike.
Since it would be safer to drive the bikes into town a bit(as the Cowboy lives by a major road that would be dangerous to ride a bike on)we put the bikes in his trunk and drove them to FoodTown parking Lot. We got them out and started riding around and even when to his friend, Jay’s house for a while.
We rode around a bit, but not too much, as it was just a short jaunt for the first bike ride of the year.
It was wonderful to ride a bike with a guy that I care so much about. I have never rode a bike with someone before in my adult like, and it was a NEW and FULFILLING experience for me. I can’t wait to do it again as the Spring season blooms into Summer.
I am always learning new things and having fun adventures when I am with the Cowboy.I am a very lucky woman to have such an adventurous man and especially one that enjoys teaching and showing me new things. 13 months ago
