I wrote 4 more letters tonite. I’m going to blow past my target of 12 letters. I’m just going to go on and write however many my heart puts out there. It is gratifying and helps me to reflect on my own journey to/through and past cancer diagnosis. 11 months ago

My total to date is now 7 letters. I do enjoy this way of (hopefully) giving back to other cancer survivors and bring a little hope or ray of sunshine to those newly diagnosed who may be terrified. 12 months ago

I decided to write 12 letters this year, one per month, but since it is April I decided to do Jan-Apr. to “catch up”. I’m excited about this organization. 13 months ago

I love this idea of sending handwritten notes to women diagnosed with cancer. I would like to send 1 letter per month. I love handwritten notes and lovely stationery so this is right up my alley.
The Healing Power of Your Words
Thank you for your care and concern. You’re on your way to making a wonderful difference to a woman newly diagnosed with breast cancer. All it takes is a little of your time and a woman in
need will receive your personal words of encouragement. Anyone can write a letter. You don’t
have to be a breast cancer survivor to join us.
How it Works
1) Write a letter(s) and mail it to Girls Love Mail.
2) We put each letter into a special GLM envelope.
3) Bundles of envelopes are given to cancer centers where medical staff hand out individual
letters to newly diagnosed patients. 13 months ago
