i will remove this goal once im sure ive reached one month and has become a daily habit to walk!
so till august 16th….
How to walk everyday
How I did it: i have the advantage of living in a bustling place like new york city so it wasn't that hard to do. my boyfriend & i just go after dinner on walks sometimes for an hour, sometimes even more! we just pick a direction (south/east/west/north) or a particular area (rockefeller center/koreatown/union square) & just walk until we get there, look around, & then walk back home!
we've even discovered new parts of the city that we've never explored before. did you know there's an area called tudor city?? always fun adventuring...
Lessons & tips: have a partner! doing it with my boyfriend definitely made it a lot more fun. we look forward to going now, even if it's colder now!
you can make it fun by looking for something like cute coffee shops or mom & pop shops. or bring a bit of spending money & get silly trinkets wherever you are.

DIDNT GO YESTERDAY,BUT WENT THIS MORNING FOR 4O MINUTES:)))
I RECOMMEND DEF GETTING SOME MUSIC TO LISTEN TO,THE IPOD SHUFFLE ARE INEXPENSIVE AND ARE GREAT FOR WALKING CUZ THEY CLIP ON
So I haven’t ‘officially’ started this yet, but when I go to class, I park on the far side of the campus. This gives me quite a walk to get to the room and is quickly reminding just how enjoyable walking is. (even the evening it was raining!) : )
I love to walk, but I like to have somewhere to walk ‘to’! I’m thinking that I will choose someplace far away like CA and pretend I’m walking there. Each day, I will mark on a map how much further along I got. That way walking down the road and back will be more interesting.
Mission accomplished.
If I can walk every morning this week, I’ll treat myself to the spa.
