How I did it: It was during a very heavy rainstorm in Seattle - one of the first of the season - and I opened the door to let my dog outside. I stood watching the rain for a few minutes, contemplating whether or not to go, and suddenly I kicked off my slippers and ran outside into the backyard. It rains a lot her in the Netherlands, and we are in autumn.
Thought there were a lot of opportunities to dance in the rain, I never did. Always cursing at the raindrops falling on my hair.
Next time, I am going to smile and dance!

I’ve done this.. a few times when it’s rain..
I don’t use many times the umbrella so.. when it’s rain and i am all wet why not.. dance?
and doing circles.. with the shoes.. and stuff like that.. it’s so much fun..
And in the final of one day-work.. :D even better!
(sorry about the mistakes.)
I advice everyone to do this.. at least one time xD

I am very excited about the idea of dancing in the rain! I cant wait to do it – luckily I probably wont have to wait long as it rains plenty where I live.
I dont have a garden, terrace, balcony or any private area so I will be out on the footpath or in the street or park in full view of traffic, houses and passersby but I WILL do it.
I aim to take off my shoes and twirl and leap about! I cant wait.

One day, I’ll just walk out the door without an umbrella and twirl around in the rain. I don’t care if people see me. It’s even fine if they think I’m one crazy girl. The only thing that matters to me is that precious moment.
And one day, I’ll get someone to join me. We’ll dance like any other couple in a ballroom, except it will be outside… in the rain. (:

There was a gorgeous open roof in the dorm I was staying at in Boston, and it started POURING so my friends and I dropped everything we were doing and went out and ddaaaanceed. I was wet and happy and thinking about it really really makes me miss last summer. There have been other rain dancing moments in my life, but this was by far the best (and most memorable!).
