Make more spanish speaking friends

Unfortunately, most of the people I work with here seem to have almost a 100% English social life. WHY DID YOU MOVE TO SPAIN THEN? Hmm, maybe some reason to do with the more laid back lifestyle and good weather and food, but still…

Anyway, I have what started as an “Intercambio” with a student of English studies, so she could practice her English and I my Spanish – but we get on well and really meet more as friends. Last time we met, she brought along another friend too which was great – and we spent the evening talking almost entirely in Spanish (good for me, anyway…) We’re meeting again (I think the three of us) next Friday too..

I should make more of an effort to chat with the Spanish staff at work in Spanish, although there’s not actually that many of them, and I don’t know I’ve got much in common with any of them.

I have already got soem Spanish speaking friends but i would like to have some more!!!!!
