Damn. I get off this site for a couple months and I’ve let all my goals go. How depressing.

Finished! I successfully recorded every book I read last year.
There were forty-three of them! I’m pretty happy with that. Some of the books were very, very excellent, too.
I’m going to do this again for 2008!
It’s been a while.
First:
Andrew Mueller – I Wouldn’t Start From Here
Pretty excellent, certainly eye opening. You should read it too, imaginary audience.
Then:
Nick Hornby – High Fidelity
If you liked A Long Way Down, you’ll like this even more. Nick Hornby is very funny and I often find myself identifying with his sad, lonely, misanthropic characters far more than is comfortable. But since I was laughing to the point of tears every few pages, and I couldn’t put it down until I finished it at 4am, it goes on my (very long) list of ‘books that are awesome’.
Richard Dawkins – The God Delusion
I really liked this! I mean, I was already an atheist. But, it was interesting and entertaining. It made me laugh. Also, it made me cringe, occasionally because Dawkins can be a smug prat (I suppose it’s a little hard not to come across that way at least some of the time, considering the subject matter), but usually because of the quotes from religious type folks.
Anyway, atheist or not it’s worth a read.
Terry Pratchett – Thief of Time
I’m finished with the discworld for now, though. It’s been way too long since I read anything else.
Even more Discworld.
Terry Pratchett – Jingo
This was one of the better ones from recently.
I feel as though I should be reading more books, by other authors at least. There are so many that I have had recommended to me, but I never remember them or try to get a hold of them.
And discworld is awesome. I’m not even close to being tired of it yet. Eheh.
I forgot to write these down. More discworld:
Terry Pratchett – Hogfather
I wasn’t a huge fan, but it gave me a few laughs.
Terry Pratchett – Maskerade
Again, kind of lame. But still, some good laughs.
Terry Pratchett – Feet of Clay
Another excellent Discworld book. heh. Terry Pratchett is clearly my favourite author ever. <3
Terry Pratchett – Making Money
I love you, Moist. Rofl.
This is a fantastic book, you should read it.
