I’ve been depressed since childhood. I did a lot of therapy but what really helped was taking medication and changing my life style:
Eating 3 meals a day
No alcohol
less sugar
Exercise, just walking 3-4 times a week for 15 minutes.
listening to music I like.
Getting to bed before 11 PM and turning off the lights!
