• Sink and tap! This makes a huge difference and life is much easier
• Kettle – I can make myself tea in the morning which is great because I love to take a cup of tea back to bed with me and do some reading when I wake up.
• My land lady gave me a small table today which I can put a stove on, now I need to get a stove
• A couple of nights ago I was working out downstairs (which is open to the elements as my house is a house on stilts) with bats and moths flying around me. That was cool.

• More cleaning, must get a mop!
• Put up some decorations 9 months ago

Over the past couple of weekends I’ve made a big effort with my house. I’ve cleaned it inside and out now and found a place for each and every thing. I have a plan for how to get my kitchen organised and I aim to have it up and running by this time next month but I am dependent on when my land lady’s handiman is free so I’m not stressing about it too much.

It certainly makes me feel happier having a space to call my own, I hung up my hammock downstairs and enjoyed the rain for a while this afternoon. It was nice. 10 months ago

To make it homely I would like:

• to hang up my clothes
• curtains
• desk
• chair
• rug
• cushions
• bookshelves
• plants outside and in
• fairy lights
• cooking equipment

I also need to live in it a bit :) 12 months ago
