do the dishes

and again and again

I HATE DISHES. PERIOD. I can hear the dishes waiting. I promised myself the kitchen counter would be spotless by the time I went to the gym tonight. Now that I’ve written this the dishes seem to be getting louder. I wish anything but the dishes was screaming ‘DO ME!!’... but sadly my life just isn’t that interesting anymore

Kitchen is all clean and tidy – no more dishes! Wow, doing those dishes was the most yucky thing ever considering how long they’d been sitting in the kitchen sink.

Well, I’m ticking this one off as done – although I should probably make it a daily goal.

doing the dishes, it’s such a bore. But I have to do them today, I’m running out of dishes and the kitchen sink is a hot, disgusting mess!

I hereby vow – or vow to attempt – to do my dishes daily thereby avoiding kitchen sink chaos!

maybe tomorrow

WHat’s so horrible about this is that I have a dishwaser and probably few more than maybe a half dozen or so pots, pans, utensils, whatever else; sitting there gross as hell and getting funkier by the minute. Science experiment type of gross, I think I saw a little mold growing. Ewwwwwww. I don’t even want to touch it. It wouldn’t take me long at all to clean it up but it’s turning into a monster and I just keep ignoring it. As if it might go away if I ignore it or something. It won’t go away; in fact it gets worse. I had a nightmare the other night that it was chasing me. It caught up with me and I was enveloped in a fuzzy fold of funky dirty dish mold and stagnant dish water. I woke up screaming.

I have half a mind to just throw it all away and buy new pots and pans; in fact I think that’s what I’ll do, is throw it all away I can’t imagine ever putting food in any of these containers again. One of ‘em is one I left on the stove too long and whatever it was I cooked in it got all burned on the bottom. It’s been soaking in stagnant moldy dish water for about a year (well not quite that long but it might as well be a year) and I don’t think it’s still not soaked off yet. Hell with it; I think I’ll just throw them all away when I get home; that might be the best thing to do.

Ugghhh…..

OK …. if this doesn’t work I’m going to be forced to make it a “challenge” ... I MUST do them…they’re actually getting smelly and moldy… YUK!!!! ....ewwwwww…. No one would ever believe that I used to be a semi-neat freak. Now my yuk-tolerance level has gone WAY up. That is NOT a good thing.

OK well…let’s see if I can do it.

Tomorrow is the big day…....

I STILL haven’t done these dishes, nor have I washed clothes. It’s pathetic.

Aaargh! What is it that makes it so hard for me to take the dishes out of the sink and put them in the dishwasher? My sink is overflowing to the point that I had to add dishes to my list of 43 things to do. Anyone out there like to do dishes? Anyone want to do mine?
