Two events have brought this goal to the forefront of things I really need to complete. 1. I was in the hospital having mitral valve replacement when the Terri Shiavo matter was on the news. I kept thinking this could be me. Sure I have said things to my sister but, I say alot of things. Second, my mom developed double pnumonia and needed to be hospitalized. Being the oldest, it is expected that I am the one to take care of her. But where was I going to start. My mom has been a natural born pack rat since WW2. I swear she has bills and receipts and vitamin ads from 1995. Very hard to have a serious discussion with her. I will keep trying but the new strategy is to get my own affairs in order and share the process with her. I think this might be a better approach.
