Natoko is going to the University of Georgia next fall! W00T!
I really want to go see the Colbert Report when I turn 18 in October.
Guess when I turn 18? October 17th! THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE SHOW! :] I’m amazing.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew how the ticket system and stuff worked. I know you have to order in for them, but I keep hearing about “standby” audiences and stuff. Thanks.
raised to be polite, not to suffer bullshit Life is too short to make just one decision
it was seriously awesome. AND i caught one of the wriststrong bracelets: straight from stephen’s hands to my wrist!
every time we watch the show now, we point out all the things that we wouldn’t have noticed before – like the “chalk” outline of where he broke his wrist, crew members we met, various knick-knacks on the shelves, where we sat in the audience. it’s pretty cool, and we can’t wait to both go back AND for our trip up to the daily show in april.
Saw it on Oct 17th; had to wait in line for a couple hours to get standby tickets, and we got them! Highly recommended.
It’ll be here (Denver) in 2008 so, fingers crossed!
I’ve been to plenty of tv tapings over the years, and nothing compares to TCR. Pure joy. I’d WALK back to NYC to do it again.
My girlfriend and I applied to get Colbert tickets, and we got a pair, but they are for a couple of days before we get to New York. I guess this one is going to have to wait a while.
