Epistemologist Studied japanese all day and did my history homework, a productive day

My journey to being an honor roll student 4 weeks ago

About me: I’ve never been a wonderful student, I’ve always been to intelligent for my own good. I never went to high school and because of that skidded by with C grades. Now I am at a Community College paying for those mistakes having to take classes I shouldn’t. I’ve screwed up in college in the past and last quarter my GPA was at a low 1.21. To remedy this I took an English re-take class in Summer and got a 3.5 GPA which brought my cumulative up to a 1.83, I’m still not eligible for Financial Aid so this quarter I hope to get a 4.0 to help boost me up to a reasonable GPA.

My goal is to get 4.0 GPAs each quarter and to bring my cumulative up over a 3.5 cumulative in order to get a scholarship.

This quarter I’ve already been missing a few classes in Journalism, my history class is in good shape and my Japanese class is suffering.

In order to complete this goal I need to:

    - Study Japanese 2+ hours per day.
    - Complete all of my History reading the day after classes instead of waiting for the weekend.
    - Attend all of my classes, especially Journalism where I’ve been missing quite a few.
    - Do all extra credit given to me to boost my GPA and fix past mistakes.
    - Do all assigned reading immediately and make sure I memorize new Japanese material before the next class.

Right now I have a Japanese mid-term on Monday which I’m not sure I will do to well on, I’m worried about that class so I need to study hard today and tomorrow in order to make sure I do well on it. Wish me luck! I will post an article once a week to let you know how my week went.

I hope to get a high score on my g.e.d., and a 4.0 in college…just writing this makes it feel impossible, because I currently suck at math. But, I’m working on it!

My First Step 4 months ago

I’m not smart at all. I was so lazy in middle school and I hardly ever paid any attention to the teacher. Now im in High school and its time for me to fix it. i hope i could fix my GPA and my scores by changing my study habit and stop being lazy. i will try to do my works not the night before the date. so wish me luck !

    FINALLY 11 months ago

After realizing that without a high GPA, I’d never bring up my average to get into college, I did an intense amount of work and ended up with a 4.27 in my senior year :D

    Arghhh! 11 months ago

My grades just seem to be going down! Its terrible. I got a 64 percent on my math quiz today and it was worth 35 points and I got a 22.5! It was terrible! I have an 94% now, but with that it will be terrible. Does anyone know what it will be with the 64%? And in English I got a D- on my test, and I have a c- now! Im not bad at english at all, but her tests are extremely hard! I turned a paper today for english, so if I get an A on that I might get a B-. Which would be awsome. But I seriously don’t want this to happen anymore. I want a 4.0 and nothing less. I will not let myself fall behind anymore. I am going to pick myself up and get into st.olaf college and that means a 4.0! So I am going to do this! Now!

if I manage to have a 4.0 gpa my cumulative will be 3.58

Let’s remind ourselves that a cumulative over 3.5 is essential in grad school.
To realize this goal I have to choose 2 courses wisely, and work on them regularly. I really want to have a good degree this time.
I think about a reward to this goal but couldn’t find. I would be very happy if I could manage it, so it might be a reward itself. But I will have a laser removal if I get a 4.0 GPA for both of the 2 terms. We’ll see.

Gotta love summer classes. 15 months ago

I swear to god, seeing that 4.0 ONCE in a transcript filled with low 3.0s is so rewarding. So now, not only does it look like I’ll be graduating on time, but I am that much closer to maybe graduating Cum Laude come May.

    work hard 15 months ago

im a student and i also really would like to recieve a 4.0 gpa but im really lazy i know its not a good thing not at all and i would never encourage people in general i really want to change my ways and also try really hard to study much harder because my falosophy on it is you have to do what you have to do to do what you wanna do! And im pretty sure if i work hard i will do much better than what i am so my advise is to always try hard always give it your all no matter how hard it seems it will have to eventually get easier!

    4.0 15 months ago

This is not hard to get. Well for high school. I think people are scared of getting good grades cause it is not the norm, but getting a 4.0 just means turn in the home work particapate in class and get at least a c+ on a test.
