I have no intention of marrying ever and am not particularly loose, however this book puts forth an interesting concept. The innate male preference for women who seem the least promiscuous for investment a.k.a. more serious relationships is due to the relationship between promiscuity, the like hood of her cheating, and the male investing in (raising) a child that is not his. So in today society obviously isn’t based off off how easy a woman is to get into bed, but also he apparent honestly and, most relevantly, her reputation. One more reason to keep for one to keep ones adventurers to ones self ;).

I am really quite good at keeping secrets. This, however, has caused problems in my relationships (friendships most specifically). If my secret gets out, I go on to divulge any and all details. I want a happy medium, where I can be honest with those who I want involved in my life with out dishing everything. And if others find out, which at one point was a horror to top all horrors, so be it. But, let them theorize rather than know. It may make me more interesting.

Everyone knows everything about me. Everyone knows everything about the man I am involved with. Everyone knows everything about the people I work with, my friends, my family, and everyone else I have ever known.

I do not know why people continue to confide in me. Seems they haven’t caught on, they don’t know that it’s like pasting it on a billboard. But they do, and I am going to fix things starting now. I’m keeping things closer to my chest, I’m not volunteering any more information without prompting, and I’m not passing on rumors and gossip. No more.
