Yeah it was pretty crowded and hard to see somethings becasue of all the kids and people standing in front of the tanks to take pictures- but if you are patient then its really awesome. One of the coolest parts is the overhead river and tunnel- its like you are in the ocean with them. Loved the touch pools, and I thought the thematic decorations in each area made it really fun. Now I wanna do the behind the scenes tour…
I went with a date, and it was his first time. There were some elements that made it an awesome sight, but it almost seemed overrated. Maybe it’s because my first visit to the Tennessee Aquarium will always be my favorite experience.
I loved the whale sharks and the beluga whales. I just sat and watched them for a while. I loved the jellyfish and the seal lions, too. It was a good experience, and I’ll be back.
I was sadly disappointed. Too much bling, waaaaay too many people, not enough fish. Or maybe I just couldn’t see all the fish for the people.
The beluga whales almost made it worth it. Almost.
It’s a damn shame. The aquarium is probably 20 minutes from where I live, but my schedule is not allowing me to go. I’ll get there eventually. I love aquariums (is that the right plurality?), so I will see it.
