Why I wanted to learn how to backflip? Well, it was because I wanted to backflip. I wanted to do this since October of last year and I still want to do it. I wanted to do it when I was watching a video of Arashi member Aiba-san on YouTube. He had just won a bowling game and all of a sudden did a backflip and I thought to myself, “I want to do a backflip when I win a game. WTF! I’m gonna do it!!!” I don’t really know how to do it. I’ve been looking at websites and things like that that try to explain the process of doing it, but they don’t explain the prerequisites for the jump. Basically, I have no idea what I’m doing, just like what I know about all my other goals, and I have no trainer or support.
Will this actually happen? I don’t know, but I’ve worked hard so far. I’ve lost a lot of weight training since October and I feel that I’ve become a lot stronger, even if I haven’t done a backflip. I’m working on jumping higher, so I’m training my legs by running everyday and I’m trying to work my upperbody fat into muscle by doing pushups. Hopefully the cardio helps.
