Worth doing!
i used to cut up my clothes when i was a teenager to create new pieces the lazy way. i would also wear a shirt as a skirt or use the neck band i cut off a t-shirt as a hair band.
more recently i made an awesome skirt from old jeans & some summer tops from scarves that i adore. my next project – kimono style 1970’s tops from my great aunt’s silk kimono that’s falling apart.
not only is it creative, but reconstructing is environmentally & socially & ethically sound.

“How do you get started with reconstructing clothes? Sounds great and I would like to try, but not sure where to begin.”
