Is there any way to out up a dozen of pictures but still remain a minimalist? :P 2 years ago

sabrynBlack frames it is

I’d actually been looking for black frames for something else, but I saw these in Target (for $5 each!) and couldn’t pass them up. I’ll get something else in copper.

I now have ten fewer frames to dust each week. Go me! 4 years ago

sabrynI can't find frames I like

Because, of course, I always want something that’s simple and also does not exist. In this case, it’s thin copper or bronze frames – no swirls or glitter or words, just plain metal frames.

I even thought I’d cop out and buy one of those box sets of frames (in black), but that leaves me short one 8×10 frame. And I don’t see much point in buying two sets when I only need one extra frame.

Then I was going to buy the black frames individually, either to size or a bit larger so I can mat the photos (and paint copper leaves on them…I’ll get my copper somehow!). Nope – they didn’t have the right sizes of frames or mats. Bah.

So, thinks I, I will make a frame. Got halfway through designing one before I realized that I have no idea how to attach the glass and backing, and even if I did know how, I don’t have the tools.

I guess I’m still searching, then. 4 years ago

KTRONI think this is done...

I just need more stuff to put on my wall, heh.

I’ll tick this off when I show you guys a picture (: 4 years ago

Took a lot of things down off my wall.
Put pictures of me and my friend from London up.
Some postcards and two letters.

Just about to put up my gig tickets, and some Theatre tickets. 4 years ago

KTRONCleaning up my walls tomorrow.

I need to clean up my walls tomorrow and then get started.
I’m just back from London, so have a few pictures sitting waiting to go up. 4 years ago

DelaWhereSetting the Stage ...

We’re in the process of buying a new house at the beach that has a full basement! There are two good sized “rec rooms” in the basement so I’m planning that one of the rooms is going to be a photograph room and the other will have a sports theme. Now all I have to do is choose which pictures get to be part of the photo gallery! 4 years ago

jendaywall of fame ♥

i did this one already a few months ago. i loved how it looked like. all my favorite people, movie tickets, bus ride tickets, receipts, everything random that makes a really good memory are all stuck in my wall. i love looking at it cus it makes me feel good and it reminds me of the coolest people i have in my life. and that i ought to keep them forever. :)) 4 years ago

sabrynNot making great progress on my wall

but I do have quite a gallery going on MySpace. Right now I have 60 pictures up! I didn’t realize I’d done so many photographable things. (Mind you, most of the pictures are not of me…I hate pictures of me.)

Later this year, when my finances have (hopefully) leveled out, I’ll pick the best of the lot and have them printed, then frame them and put them up. 4 years ago

sabrynArmed and dangerous

I now have a digital camera. I can take pictures to my heart’s content, and print at will. I vow to complete this goal by New Year’s Eve this year. 5 years ago

drumming_divai've wanted to do this for awhile!

picture a wall of photos of friends & fam… everyone i love… filling a wall in my front hall. it would make me feel happy every time i saw it, and also be a way to remember those who might have gotten lost along the way. i picture all the frames being black, but i just can’t figure out the best way to hang them… ideally, it would be easily updated, and that’s what i’m not sure about exactly… 5 years ago
