easier said than done! but I have started borrowing books instead of buying them. :)
People doing this are also doing these things:

ok… i’m too lazy to write a list…
i’ll just say that the next book is How Al-Anon Works…
funny… i never really read this… i went to a bunchj of meetings but ended up bolting cause i can never stay with a group for too long… that’s why i left 43things for so long…
but i think i should read this… there are so many alcoholics in my life…
and it’s just screaming at me in my collection to be read…
screaming i said…
ok… how about i continue to read the bbc top 200 books… and also at the same time read the books in my collection… if i can’t read them i will have to give them away…
i’ll make a list of all the books i need to read and treat it as another list that need to get though…
how should i order them?
alphabetical by title? by year? by topic? by author?
this task has been conflicting… i just can’t get myself to read the books in my collection… i tried… but there is too much out there that i want to read to worry about the lonely ones on my shelf…
hmmm do i give away the ones i have? maybe…
i need to think about this goal a bit
haha, I’m nowhere near done with all my books but I can’t resist them! must try again!
i’m almost finished with Ape and Essence… it’s far more interesting than Lord of the Rings…
at first it was hard to get into but now… i cant really put it down… i one of Huxley more twisted views of what the world will be like in the future… but at the smae time it reflexs what humans are doing right now…
i like the line about how fear was the downfall of man… that people were finished mainly without warfare but with the fear of something really bad happening…
kind of what is happening now… our government is using fear to keep us for this war…
ok… goal is just to finish this book…
after this i can start on Atonement by Ian McEwan
mike
still haven’t starting read the book…
my plan is to read at least on chapter by the next time i come here
ok… i just looked at all my books and it seems that there are not that many that still need to read….
so i’m going to continue to use the bbc list of books to read and i’ll happily read the books i’ve never read…
so i have Lord of the Rings fot the BBC list and Ape and Essence by Aldous Huxley from my own collection…
i like reading a few books at the same time…
