There is even a book called ‘How the rich are destroying the planet’ – perhaps that is so but I am not convinced. Yet. I need evidence that what Gordon Gecko says in ‘Wall Street’ is right. “Greed is good – greed works.” Well perhaps one also needs a philanthropic tertiary objective so that one does not sabotage oneself subconsciously.

So increased charitable giving seems the way to go. e.g. I will triple my net income in twelve months and will then give away X to worthy causes. 12 months ago
