Trauma_JunkieWell it's hit and miss

I got today in the mail my “Brew over Ice TUmbler” from Kuerig. it’s a really nice Tumbler with a lid and two straws, intended to make the brew over ice iced coffee. I’m thinking of making it into part of a coffee theme gift basket to raffle off when dealing with the flu shot campaign. That or using it as an actual gift for someone, it is surprisingly nice.

Requested some Kuerig samples from Target yesterday so I am excited about them.

So far I have gotten:
shampoo samples
lotion sample
ovaltine sample
several perfume samples- hint, don’t bother with these- they are just the little peel off samples on postcards…
laundry detergent sample
maxi pad sample
depends sample (For a friend with a special needs adult child.)
harley Davidson sticker
and a “The caffiene made me do it” sticker.

Now what I am awaiting:
more shampoo samples
lipton tea samples
the mascara I won
the bic pens I supposedly won
baby food sample (for the food bank)
“what is microbiology” poster…

So yes, I suppose it works, though not always. Going to keep this up for a little while longer. 10 months ago

Trauma_JunkieGot

A free Mickey Mouse pin- very nice, from Disney Movie Rewards.

2 free samples of Ovaltine

Coupons for bounty towels (dont use them)

So, yes, it would appear that the free samples things do work, though…I admit, I am still awaiting several more. 11 months ago

Trauma_JunkieIt seems to work

I got 2 free samples in the mail today. A stayfree maxipad and a packet of purex laundry detergent. The nice thing is that they also came with coupons.

Quaker cereal (food bank)

And I won a mascara in a purse contest on Facebook.
Still waiting. 11 months ago

Trauma_Junkiehmmmm

So far I have received some free magnets and oddly some Spanish Language coloring books from Johnson and Johnson campaign for nursing…and the laminated flu and pneumococcal vax cards. But all of these things…well came from very legit sources. I’m still waiting on my rain guard, my bodycology poppy lotion, arm and hammer toothpaste, baby formula, cereal, stickers, and posters of Microbiology and nesting birds. I did get a little carried away! BUT…Most of this stuff I can use as little tiny rewards for the staff…

Trauma_JunkieSooo

I have this new job and I have a teeny tiny budget. I like to reward people for good behavior, for doing things like washing their hands and wearing isolation gear when needed. So Voila, I have signed up to get a free samples of all sorts of things, from a perfume sample of hugo Bosses “Orange lady” to sample packs of crystal light and ovaltine, to pins from the national kidney foundation and disney. If they arrive, I plan to dump them all in the basket I use which also has candy purchased by me in it. and let people choose what they want.

I just HOPE the samples arrive. I’ve also ordered and asked for all sorts of samples that I can donate to the food bank…I know a sample of a cereal isn’t much, but if they are offerring- I can always donate it, its more than 0. 11 months ago
