I’ve been working in research for 3 years. Last year I got my first research grant. It’s a undergraduate students grant, it’s for a year and a half, but I’m doing my own reaserch and I’m getting paid for it!! 4 years ago

I’ve succeeded. I’ve failed. I’m trying. My back hurts with all the stress and work. But I’m filled with hope and I’m happy to suffer for this. I don’t mind the pain, as long as its this pain – i can see a light at the end of the tunnel now. 4 years ago

STEP 6: GETTING GOOD GRADES AND FINISHING WITH DISTINCTION

There are so many things to research and I love the process! I already do tons of research just for fun. Friends ask me to do research for them and I give them the cliff notes. It works great. Digging ad reading info is not like work at all. I would do it for a living in a heart-beat! 5 years ago

I finished my BSc (bachelor) degree in Computer Science last summer, and was awarded the best graduate of the year.

This landed me a job as a research assistant working on two European research projects connected to e-Learning. I get to meet many different research colleagues from around the globe, and on top of that I’m getting a phd on the side while getting paid!

I do this more in a (computer programming) support role. I like to build tools which help scientist get their work done. I’ve had a long time interest in aided Problem-Solving-Environments. Currently some of that work is being called semantic-(grid)/web-services. 6 years ago
