My mom and I have been going through my flash cards every night or every other night because sometimes we forget. I made flash cards for exponent rules too and I definitely know those now. Those really helped. And I made flash cards for perfect squares, cubes, fourths, and fifths. And I am getting better at those. I need to study the basic rules/steps for factoring. I made flash cards tonight for the ones that I don’t know. I went through them 5 or 6 times. I am going to try to go through the cards every day until I have them memorized like the rest of the multiplication tables.

Woot, I practiced in the car last night. I’m still doing all the equations in my head. This is the furthest thing from ROTE, but I’m trying baby! I’m trying.

I wish that they didn’t have little space men on them (guess they don’t have much call for adult flashcards) Getting some of them though.

Somehow I graduated without learning this… At least without having to count in my head.

And now i want to.

I made tiny flash cards for the ones I don’t know. I’m starting to feel much better about this goal. It’s better to learn them than put them off again and again and then feel depressed and embarrased.

I really only have to learn the 6’s, 7’s and 8’s. That’s not too many to learn!!!
