Save, Save, Save

Anyway, with this day and age it is time to get serious about my money saving techniques, or lack there of. I would like to open a savings account, yeah I know this sounds sad… Who doens’t have a savings account, but I recently went to this discussion and you will be suprised how many people don’t have one.

I have been saying that I am going to go to the bank and open an automatic withdrawal savings account. If not now then when. If you hardly have time make time, right?

This is a challenging one. But I will save the most this year.

My goal is 10-15 by the end of the year.

I can’t believe it. I’m at $3750. I’m going to way over-reach this goal. I actually have emergency savings.

I’m at $3000 and it’s only October. Plus I’ve managed to spend a little along the way and still enjoy life. It just took a little committment to the process. I’m so excited! I’ve lived paycheck to paycheck my whole life, and I’m finally starting to get a buffer zone.

$1900 baby. I’m half way there. I think I might move up my deadline to Thanksgiving.

My goal is to save $4,000 by Christmas. I have $1000 already.

So I’m moving in December and I’ve done the math, I need at LEAST $20,000 AT move-in. I think I will feel more comfortable in December if I can have that money saved by November. So far I have about a qaurter of that completed …so everyone pray for me because this is going to be a risky challenge for me! Any and all creative suggestions would be awesome!
