and to be that much greater, I think, would raise my cholesterol level.
Besides, this baby just ain’t goin’ nowhere and I need to cut her off the list.
Maybe we’ll meet again?

Is a really great place for foodlovers! Quite a few Nigella recipes can be found here.
I think I will have to finally check out his books!
Toast, Appetite, The Kitchen Diaries and Eating for England among others.
Thanks to Nigella I often use za’atar: a mixture of dried thyme, sumac, salt and sesame seeds. (And by the way, trying her fattoush recipe was probably the best thing I did cookingwise this summer.)
Za’atar is great for light meats like chicken and vegetables. It can also be used for topping manakish, evidently, but that I have never tried. Sounds like a tasty snack though.
Tonight I’m going to make Nigella’s lemon risotto. It’s a great recipe but does include lots and lots of cream and butter. So I don’t cook this too often. But tonight there will be lots of it!
Some of my favourite Nigella recipes so far:
- Pasta with meatballs (the tomato sauce is great)
- Salad with watermelon and feta cheese and black olives
- Salmon with bacon and pea purée
- Salad with pancetta
- Southern style deep-fried chicken
- Chicken soup w kneidlach
I definitely would like to cook like Nigella more often!
i think i must do some of my other 43 things before i can fully let it go with nigella. dontcha know?
