    well…
Im russian. i was TECHNICALLY born in ukraine, but they speak practically the same language, eat the same stuff and laugh at the same jokes and read the same classic literature. Besides i grew up IN RUSSIA. MY FAMILYS RUSSIAN,just they thought ukraine was a peacful place to have a baby after chernobyl.
I already know russian, its just im not very good with it. I can talk fluently. I can read…barely…and as for my writing…well…is that worth mentioning? i guessed not because i cant really write unless i ahve a dictionary in front of me, with the alphabet. I know the rules for punctuation pretty well though, so well that when i was 9 i actually read, something my leo tolstoy, not much of it, i think i got up to about the 5th page, but i read it, until it got boring. After that i got severly depressed stopped completely reading writing nad learning. I want to take it up again, if not for the sake of my education but maybe for the sake of my culture, my history my background.

I love being russian and I’d like to get my accent back.Im planning on borrowing some audibooks and CDs and books to relearn and fill in the missing gaps in my learning.

Wish me luck and take care
    sash

    I've decided.. 3 years ago

    to combine & make it a 3-in-1 goal…
I really love this language, so I have to study harder and probably spend less time on 43T in order to achieve this :|
