I figure it can’t be THAT bad right? It won’t take THAT long and it’s something I REALLY wanna do so why not go for it.
I’ll be graduating with an undergrad in speech pathology. Can’t get very far with just a B.A. so it’s either stay in SC for the rest of my life, get a master’s of go for my Au.D…
This is my plan:
Graduate with my undergrad. SLPs are much needed and in SC and as of right now it is not required to have a Master’s. So i’ll go to work a few years and hopefully after like a year of working at the same place they will assist me in paying for my Au.D. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s a school in SC that offers it. So I may have to rethink all of that. Another idea, work, my job help pay for my to get my masters and then after i do that, work for however long we agreed and then move somewhere where they DO have a school I can get my Au.D from.
Sounds good when I think about it. let’s hope and pray it works!
