It was a great day for competing. I seen all my old friends from the Golden Dragon Martial Arts School. I haven’t seen them or trained in about a year. I procrastinated a bit and started training again only about 2 week ago. Our school pretty much swept the internal martial arts division. In my category alone (beginner Yang), our school took all the medals. I got a silver. My friend Aminah got the gold and Doris the bronze. Sifu JC swept all the advanced categories he was competing in. I’m really proud to say that he is my Sifu and that I am learning from the best. I am glad that its over and I can look forward to something else on my 43 things list. I look forward to learning other internal arts forms. There are forms with swords and also other tai chi styles. 9 months ago

Short term goal. It’s the day before my birthday. It would be sweet to win gold. It’s just good enough that i gain the experience of competing.
