The Gen. Land Office for the state of Texas is such a cool place—maps everywhere! And the lady (Mary) was so nice that I think I’ll be going back pretty soon just to check out the maps and ask some questions; it’s right by my school.
We have decided to hang it w/o framing it so this one is super-done! I started wanting this map in middle school (20yrs ago!) but I actively started looking for it about two years ago. It just goes to show me that long-term goals sometimes have short-term resolutions.
Anyway, awesome to get this done and I’m sure we’re gonna enjoy it for years to come! I will try to post a pic once we get it put up. 8 months ago

This was an easy one to knock off the list and I even saved 8 bucks by shipping it to the Gen. Land Office downtown and picking it up on my bike since I bike by here about 10 times a week. Now the goal will be: “properly frame the Nat. Heritage Map of Texas” Can’t wait to pick it up! 8 months ago
