not call in sick to work for six months

So, one month and counting. Starting a new job soon – we’ll see if it’s easier or harder to stick with this…

Just called in this week, last time was in September maybe? We even get a benefit if we stay under the allowable sick time. Bad Girl

I called in two and a half days – came in at lunch today. Though I was sick, I probably could have/should have gone in and stuck it out. A lot was emotional. Damn.

I always manage to convince myself that I’m really sick enough to justify taking the time off, but frankly I know that I’m just being a big baby.

Thus my goal is to go six months without calling in sick once. The only exception I will allow is if a doctor – or my manager – actually tells me that I should stay home (as happened today, incidentally, on a day when I was not planning to take off sick beyond the time needed to see the doc).
