Photographs are beautiful and inspiring. It’s a way to express yourself, and it’s great. I will take photos more often in order to document my life.
How I did it: I had a few setbacks, including dead batteries in the camera, nothing to take photos of that interested me, bad lighting, weather, etc.
I got out and took photos of nature. I went wild and whipped my clothes off in the woods and had my husband take photos of me! They are some of the best I've ever seen!
Lessons & tips: If you have a digital camera, just take lots of photos. Delete any that aren't the absolute best. Then do it all over again!

I know all of you can relate to me when it comes to taking digital photos and storing them on your hard drive never to be seen again. What ever happened to the good old time when you stood by the photo store waiting to see how the pictures turned out and actually putting them in albums… now all those memories are stashed away on your computer… anyway… i just joined photoforum. why don’t you guys join meet likeminded people??? If you are sick of flickr or photobucket, then check out Photosharea. It’s simple to use and not overtly complicated…take care everyone
cheers!
Well, I’m going to have to give up on this for while, because I have lost my camera.
Sigh.
lob counting down to my son's play production...
get more scarpbooking done with all those photos!
totally worth doing. i just started taking photos for a former boyfriend’s band (about a year and a half ago) and now i have taken photos for most the local bands in boise, for money even! its so much fun!
Photography is amazing. Just think about what you are doing when you take a picture. I dont mean to sound all cliche -ish, but when you take a photograph you are freezing a moment of time. You can travel back into that moment at any opportunity just by opening up a photo album. Personally, I think that that is amazing.
Plus, you can make some money off of photography if you know what you’re doing. :P
But seriously, take photographs just to chart your own growth … how you have developed and have changed over the years. You rarely regret taking a photograph and if you do … ie, the pic of you and your ex … just tear it up. :)
Photography is such a fun experience (when not getting paid).
Sounds funny, right? I just like to shoot unpressured and without a specific goal in mind (unless I’m shooting a specific theme for myself). It’s a great way for me to test and try things out visually. It’s my art form outside of programming.
M.T.
I am taking my camera with me more often (almost everywhere except work) and taking pictures, but I still want more in quantity and quality.
