Had a hard time tonight. My knees hurt and I had to use my inhaler. Three hours later I had to use my inhaler again, and I am never winded after riding. I think its a combination of the weather and still being a bit sick. Hoping to swim tomorrow.

And after swimming for 25 min.
I kicked ass.

I am now finding it hard to stop.

Tonight was hard. I had to really push myself. I got up to 28.8 mph and held it for two minutes. It made me feel awful, it took a long time to recover and I feel dizzy and sort of out of it now. But Im glad that I did it. 3 weeks ago

I’m finding it easier to ride, but its more painful. If I ride completely upright, then my sitz bones hurt. If I ride in a riders position then I lean too far on my arms and they get very tired. Part of the problem is that my bike is a little off center. I ordered a riser tonight for the front tire and a bike computer so I can start keeping track of my miles. I have no idea how far I am riding.
I also ran tonight after my ride. It was just 5 min and just around the wide block, but I did my first run in 10 months. Not looking forward to tomorrow morning.

I have been sore since Tuesday and haven’t gone swimming since. The run was too much.
I bought a riser for my front tire and it worked magnificently. Also bought a bike computer. It isnt wireless, but it works well.
4/27 Too sick to ride today. Maybe by tonight I can pump out 20 min. 4 weeks ago

I’m noticing that it is easier to ride longer and I had to tighten the trainer so the it was harder to pedal. It is a
So much easier to just go home after work and ride than it used to be.
I had a wicked migraine last night, but I went swimming anyway. But I couldn’t ride tonight. I was too tired, come to find out there was a reason. So Im giving myself this week. I am going to try and ride tomorrow though.

Im not sure that I can ride 4x next week to make up for the missed day. Im really sore in the morning after riding.
I bought a gel seat and it came on Saturday. It isnt very gel like. It is actually quite hard. I know that the gel seats arent supposed to be that great, they somehow screw up your alignment, but I just wanted a little more softness. I rode with it anyway, and it did help. I did not feel like my bones were hitting the seat. Next up: I need to get a better wheel shaft. I had to buy a new one because the head on the one that came with the bike was too large to fit in the trainer. The new one I have is a bit too short for the bike, so the tire is just sitting in the frame. The bike wiggles a bit when I ride. 1 month ago

It kicked my ass today, but I was surprised by how long I was able to ride. I was already tired when I got on! But my butt is really sore. Time for a gel seat.
4/13 20 min
I only had 20 min as we were going out to dinner. I had also spent 25 min swimming, so I was already sort of tired.
On a side note: I bought a gel seat because my sitz bones are still sore when I ride, I know that gel pads can make the problem worse, but Im willing to try. 1 month ago
43 minutes. I dont know why I cant seem to do this more than once a week though. I dont mind doing it, I dont find it hard to do it, I am not overly sore after I do it. 9 months ago
I have a tendency to have these grand ideas, buy things, and then not use them. Last year I bought a bike trainer and I have only used it a half dozen times. It was a lot of money. Now, I want to swim in the bay. I need a wetsuit. Im afraid that I will do this, swim once or twice and then not make a regular habit of it. So I am making myself ride 3x a week for two months before allowing myself to buy myself a wetsuit. 10 months ago
