make a mosic table top for an old sewing maching base I have.

it’s just a matter of time.

I am crunched for the time to do this. I will keep playing with the design, then by the time I have the time.. {okay that sounded weird} I will be able to just get done quick.

I have decided.. I have to make a post about our big adventure to the ocean.. but.. this is why I am writing about my table..
I love seaglass… I just love it, can’t really explain why..
So I was thinking.. instead of a mosiac of tile or plate pieces.. How about rocks and seaglass.. stuff from the ocean.. and Lake Michigan of course.. I brought things the kids and I would find when we were home… Now I can combine them with the treasures from here.. I am not sure how it will turn out.. Here is a picture of the first of my ocean treasures I have.. Don’t laugh.. I love nature and it is nothing unusualy for me to gather seed heads and just keep them.. {Secret: in storage: once sitting on my book shelf I have wasp nests, bird nests, oh so many things..maybe I should write a goal: celebrate nature}

table top.. All the pieces I have been saving for the mosaic projects are in storage under thousand of boxes.. So I have to start a new collection.. I have the base of the table..
Right now all I am doing is collecting the right pieces..
The right colours. I have a design in my head.. It really all depends on the pieces I have and the coulours.. It is subject to change and change again… That is the fun of it.
