How I did it: It has taken me an absolute age to accomplish the goal, eespecially as I only live about 3 hours away from the city, and while I was at Reading Univeristy I was living 30 minutes away, for 3 years. After university, my friend who is originally from Oxford, moved with her boyfriend to a tiny village just outside Oxford and each time I visited in the past we would get 1 village closer to the city centre, but this time we achieved it. The plans for this bank holiday weekend had been in place for a while, and we decided to spend the day in the city. By the time I got to her house and then trained to Oxford it was 2pm, so we met up with some other friends and went to an amazing ice cream place and then sat down in the grounds of one of Oxford Universities colleges. At about 6 we left other other friends as they were going home, and my friend and I went to a lovely Italian restuarant for dinner. We ended up getting back to her at about 11pm.

Next time I would like to have a proper look around the city as we didn't do much of that because we were short on time. Read how I did it… 2 weeks ago
