sberrymargGood Things Journal

This is my spin on a gratitude journal. At the end of each day, I want to spend a moment writing down the good things that happened that day. The point of this journal is to be able to look back at the end of a week, month, year and be able to see how many good things have happened and how many positive memories have occurred. I have done this in the past and it is really fun to look back on because often times I will read a fun memory that I had forgot happened. The goal of the journal is to stay positive. If something bad happens to you that day, what is the point of recording it for yourself to remember later on? Why give it any extra time than it already took up in your life. Obviously in life there are sad moments, and those are important parts of life, but the point of this journal is to see the good. This journal also is great motivation to go DO things and live your life. It is fine to write down “watched my favorite show” on your good things list, but putting “went to dinner with friends and laughed” is slightly more rewarding :) 9 months ago
