find a more fulfilling job

I have a decent job. I work for a good company with fair compensation, good people, and good benefits. The problem is that I don’t wake up in the morning thinking “Wow! I’m going to do paperwork all day! Yippee!”. I am capable of doing more than I do. I want the chance to be creative, to discover, and to love what I do. The question is “What next?”

With what I work in (Design, Photography, and the Web) it was always a goal to work for myself. So I quit my old job and started and found a more fulfilling job by starting my own business!

The freedom is great, the pay is better or atleast equal (but we’ll have to see at the end of the year).

I’ve also been working on my photography and hope to find some more work doing this.

I’m okay right now with what I’m doing…it’s not my ideal job, but how many people actually achieve that. I think I’ll be fulfilled when I start my own business some day. Besides, having a great life outside of work to me is more important.

and it doesnt seem that bad. However I didn’t take any calls yet but I did watch one of my co-workers and it seemed simple..ish…

Maybe being a telemarketer wont be so bad…......

For the last two months I worked at Olan Mills, selling [or trying to] $5 packages. My Olan Mill’s happened to be located in a K-Mart. Well…things didn’t go so well there. It’s not a very big town so there were not many people that bought my packages and I was suppose to be selling 2 an hour!!

Well I finally was able to start selling some, and then I get a call a day before I was suppose to go in and they let me go, yes it was upsetting, but the job was depressing.

Tonight I start my new telemarketing job…which doesnt sound like a whole lot of fun…but right now its a job!!
