I’m free and it’s wonderful. I already feel lighter. In fact, I’ve lost 2 lbs from the lack of stress. I’m excited to finally do some things I’ve been wanting to for me. I’ve spent so much of my time adhering to others, taking on every request they give me. It was so exhausting and stressed me out big time. I can’t wait to paint this painting I’ve been thinking about…to read those books….walk more, rest more…relax, declutter, reevaluate and rejuvenate. Yee! So happy :) 8 months ago

I’ve been a people pleaser my entire life. I just started saying “No” a few weeks ago and my god it has been liberating. Though “No” has a negative connotation on it’s own, I can’t tell you how much I love saying yes to it and how much I’ve grown to love it.
I’m finishing my last obligatory yes this week or the next. It was an art commission that I mindlessly agreed to and now in retrospect I wish I hadn’t. After this, I’m free.
I can’t wait to focus on things that have been slipping to the wayside which have been causing stress. I’m excited to declutter, throw out the old, in with the new. I’m excited to walk more, to explore the city in which I live, and come home to a sea of blankets and books. 9 months ago
