It just snapped!

This actually happened back in sept ‘05. I was just about to audition and while talking to the conductor, dropped my bow!! The conductor was traumatized, I think. Having never done that before, AND having just had my bow rehaired ($50), it snapped right at the tip. Just awful :( I’ve been using my back-up bow since. It’s slightly warped, the wood grain is odd, and it needs a rehairing job as well. I like having a back-up bow, and it’s time I get a new one. Unfortunately, my monetary situation does not permit ‘extravagant’ expenses….so I’m holding out…until after I move out of my current apartment.
