Combo of high quality biscuits, steroid jab and prescription flea treatments seem to have done it. I’m hoping the steroid jab can be avoided from now on though as it would be pretty pricey to take her to the vet every 8 weeks just for that.
But yeah, seems to have cleared up nicely :) Touch wood and all that. 7 months ago

are bloody pricey. Hopefully Luna will start getting better as a result though in which case it’s worth it :) 8 months ago

My cat Luna has flea allergy dermatitis, fairly badly, and is a pretty unhappy kitty about it all. The one thing that actually worked was an injection she had at the vet’s, but my dad took her so I don’t know what it contained, I just know it cleared up the symptoms sharpish.
I was speaking to my friend about Luna’s discomfort and she said she had a cat with an allergy-related skin problem and had to take the cat for a steroid jab every 8 weeks which was the only thing that helped. So soon as my parents return from their holiday I’ll make an appointment at the vet and we can drive down.
I don’t care if I have to shell out every 8 weeks, I just want my cat to be happy and comfortable (and ending her stress-related runny tummy would be nice too). 9 months ago
