This has totally just reminded me of BookCrossing.com, which I used to browse quite a lot and have totally forgotten about it in the last couple of years. I’ve just noticed someone mentions it below, too.
My mum’s always complaining that we have too many books since we all just read a book once and then they pile up… well little does she know is that the pile is slowly going to lessen over the coming months… hehe, how exciting!
So yeah, if you find a book, go to BookCrossing.com. Or maybe leave a note with that website in. I’d love to hear from whoever finds my book(s)!

Planning to fling my “To Kill A Mockingbird” over the wall (oh so casually) into my nearest park. I have included a letter on the inside cover to whoever finds it. God i love doing stuff like this.

i also found this on someone elses list and loved the idea.
i bought “the picture of dorian gray” at a bookstore two days ago, and it was really cheep (20kr, which is less than the smallest mcdonalds hamburgers, or a magazine) i have the book in norwegian too, and i will leave this somewhere nice when i’ve finished it. (and i will also write something at the front or back, why i love it and leave it for someone else to love it.)

I can’t push this site enough! It makes sharing the love of books fun! My books have been around the world, and passed through many people hands. It’s a wonderful thing to share.

.. for January, so will leave one in the cinema this evening when I go to ‘I walk the line’, but which one? Think it’s Kathy Reichs Cross Bones that has to go, because I couldn’t get to the end of it but that doesn’t feel very generous of me. Perhaps my next book should be one I love and that I really want other people to read.
