Visit California again

This was a truly wonderful trip because I feel Terry and I were able to get past a great milestone in our relationship: The 1st vacation. We had one fight, and it was ridiculous. But it’s over and it’s all about learning more about each other which will never stop. I’m very happy and I had a wonderful time. I miss it out there and now, of course, I want to move there. :)

Terry left for his month long trip to Cali yesterday. I have to say that I am really happy I decided to go out there for a week because I realize it would be hard for me to go that long without seeing him. When I get back I will be pretty busy with the Inauguration and moving though and that will help me get through it.

I’m leaving on the 6th and I’ll be arriving in Orange County. Terry will be driving back from the Fiesta bowl so I am going to spend the day in Newport Beach until he can come and pick me up around 5 pm. From there we are driving to Alhambra to stay with his uncle for a night.

When we wake up, we are driving to Santa Barbara for a two day trip. This is the part I’m most looking forward to. Some nice alone time with him in a peaceful area. I know once we leave Santa Barbara we will be staying with him friends in San Diego and it’s going to be all about bumming around with them. Not that I mind it, but I love alone time with Terry because it doesn’t come around very often.

Was in California for six months when i was a student and fell in love with the place from the moment i landed at LAX. Huntington Beach, Orange County, Newport beach, everything about the place, the people, the wonderfully weird people at Venice Beach, the bars on Sunset Blvd, the random adventures whilst there. I want to go back one day, met so many people whilst there that i keep in touch with from time to time, geez, can still remember my house telephone number off the top of my head from there which was 7 years ago. Definitely need to get booked up and fly over – a wonderful wonderful place
