buy an electric car

It will be a while yet before my husband and I invest in an electric car. We currently have a very economically and environmentally sound car that runs real well but would love to get rid of the gas bill altogether. I hope by the time we are ready to buy that prices on these vehicles go down and that there is a larger variety to choose from. I really believe that this is the new ride for the future and the wisest of the wise will be driving these bad boys :)

My current car is still holding up, but I hope that prices come down enough that my next one will be electric. The temptation to buy a convertable will be there, but I know that doesn’t really fit my personality.

People say that gasoline is bad. They say that ethanol is better.
It is not. Using food for fuel is a very bad idea. Ethanol is also less efficient (mpg) than gasoline.

I say, completely throw out the combustion engine.

I’d like some company to produce an electric car that I can use around town which I can charge from my wind/solar powered home. That would be sticking it to the oil companies as well as doing my part to minimize my carbon footprint.

My husband and I only have one car… but it is an SUV!
Sometimes we are embarassed, but we don’t have the option to trade it in for a hybrid or electric car right now. I feel really guilty for polluting the ozone with our big ol’ SUV. We have 3 kids, so at the time we bought it, it seemed like the right thing for our big family. But now, I am not so happy with it.

My next car will be electric

We should all drive electric cars – reduce polution and never pay for gas again.

I have found a few cars that are worthy of interest…first is the Zap X – coming soon…also the obvio! 012E – all electric and the Obvio! 828E a cute one – these cars go about 120 MPH for about 250 miles. I have inquired about them, no response yet. They have dealerships around the USA. Makes you wonder why no one is advertising the all electric. It is amazing how many people don’t know about this technology. Of course an electric car is going to be pricy, but it averages out the same as a gasoline vehicle in the long run, and we would not be adding to the Global Warming problem. check out these cars at www.zapworld.com
