was chosen to be part of a dance team representing N. Ireland in the World Dance Cup in Villach, Austria in June :) She’s so happy and i’m so pleased for her. As a result, the both of us will be getting a weeks holiday in Austria….we’re stopping off in Vienna for a day or two. Yay. 1 week ago

from today and i’ll be in Paris with my daughter. i have still so much that i haven’t seen yet and we have quite a few things on our list to do. We’re going to visit Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, maybe wait and wait and wait for Samuel Beckett and enjoy Monet in the Musée de l’Orangerie.

my husband surprised me with a trip to Barcelona booked for March and he’s coming with me :O This doesn’t happen very often, i was quite stunned and lost for words but also very happy :D 1 month ago

A lovely time with my two girls. You were right TroegPerdo it wasn’t as bad as i thought though i didn’t give in to buying the Minnie Mouse ears :D
Hannah’s favourite thing was kissing all the characters….being in a wheelchair got her extra special attention from everyone and this made the trip a lot easier for her.

My fabulous friend O has booked me a “surprise” trip in May for my birthday. All she told me was that i had to be available with my passport and clothes for dancing and warm temperature for dates 23rd to 27th May :) EEK!!!

turns out someone ^{this person will not be mentioned – ok, it was my daughter} couldn’t keep the secret and told me where she was taking me. Then this evening someone else ^{who also shall not be mentioned – my dad} let it slip that there are actually about 12 other people going….some friends, girls from my classes and cousins!!!! They’re going to surprise me at the airport!!!! Holy hell! talk about organisation. Everything is booked and all!

I’m so lucky to have such good friends and such loose lipped relations!

Been to Warsaw? I’m thinking of booking a trip. Have booked a trip to Paris for my daughter and I the weekend after Valentine’s (we usually go to London). Since visiting Paris in June she has fallen in love (better with a city than a man ;)) 3 months ago

I’ve booked another trip to Roma on October 13th -15th…i just didn’t see enough the last time! And Disneyland, Paris with my 2 daughters on November 30th!! Lovely 6 months ago

to Paris though this time i did have a couple of scary moments. I got called a “putin” twice :( Once by an arab man who was sitting with his wife and children beside me at a cafe. He leaned over my table when he was leaving and said it to me….i can only think that it was because i was drinking coffee and reading on my own? The 2nd time was when someone asked me to have a cup of coffee with him, i said very politely no thank you but he decided to call me names. Both times left me pretty annoyed.

I was also followed home on the metro by two young guys who scared the life out of me i refused to walk on in a very public place (i didn’t want them to follow me to the hotel) and asked them to leave me alone again. A very lovely french man came and rescued me and then took me out for dinner….. they say every cloud has a silver lining. :)

Everything else was fantastic as always, still have so much more to find and see :) 7 months ago

trip to Paris with my daughter, she was so excited and she loved every minute. We spoke quite a bit of french, climbed a lot of stairs/steps, saw a lot of gorgeous sites, can’t wait to go back in a couple of weeks. :) Yay!! 7 months ago
