I got lots of things accomplished under this goal, but I want to put up a similar type goal and don’t want to leave this one up in addition. :)

I've been reading a book called: Sedona Method 3 years ago

I don’t get this..but the author wants us to “release” want we are “holding onto”. Hmmmmmm. I can see the merit in that..but how to do it! He writes that we resist the things we think we “should do” (yep!) and that if we make friends (moreless) with the resistance we can then let it go. I imagine if a person could understand this it would be QUITE beneficial. Like I just despise doing my checkbook..can I welcome the feelings associated with doing the checkbook and then let them go? Sounds a little mumbo jumbo-y..but also seems extremely intelligent.

I remembered a nice "system" 3 years ago

there are these very nice file folders made by smead, I think. They are pre-printed on the front with “prompts” about completing a project. Today I am going to fill out a few about projects I have been having trouble with or projects that are most pressing.

Much of my difficulty in getting things done is not having a routine. I’ll work on getting something done on each (most pressing) project each day. What do you think? sound reasonable?

I didn't do what I said I would do 3 years ago

I didn’t write the letter and the steering seems to have resolved itself! Dave is handling his own warranty situation (I bet he ignores it) but that is fine with me! The thing about the steering is funny..because some things DO seem to work out without any intervention from me!! (but I guess a person can’t count on that type of thing…or can they??!)

been sitting around alot! 3 years ago

it has been easy to sit around groovin with the new kitties! I am not even going to feel bad about it…but I will write a letter today about Dave’s warranty on the van and also I will address the fact that my Toyota is steering “funny” since the last time it was in the shop.

I’ll be going downtown to sign an affidavit regarding the division of property between me and ex.

Yesterday ... 3 years ago

I didn’t write it up on my dry erase board (which is too bad because finishing the tasks and ERASING them is fun!)
But I went to a meeting with my application
I applied for drug coverage (a whole month LATE so I had to pay for my Rx for January..dangit!)
I emailed a reply to the paralegal working on my case
Took Irene to the hospital
I think that would have been the high points on my list ..if I had written it out ahead of time.

sent ANOTHER email to the lax-adaisical attorney 3 years ago

with a cc to the paralegal that has been doing the lions share of the work. She wrote last week and stated her hours have been cut. hmmmmm. So I wrote today and asked pointedly if SHE is the only person working on my case. Funny, I am being BILLED $250.00 an hour. Is that what she makes? My email might make the attorney ticked. I didn’t mention the money issue..but I wasn’t particularily “pleasant” either.

This is how women come across as “nags” or “bitches” simply because they want a fricking answer! But my ACTION was that I emailed. We’ll see what the response is. I was SUPPOSED to sign an affidavit LAST week. (Until the paralegal’s hours got cut!)

I'm going to go for it again tomorrow! 3 years ago

..If I do 5-6 things per day ..well that will be great!

I've got it almost all finished! 3 years ago

Our two new kitties will be “safe” in here! there isn’t much that can get them into trouble. Those blinds I guess. My objective was to get this 3/4’s of the way done..but I think it is more like 7/8’s the way done! It was such a mess..But of course NOW I have to find new places for all the crap I took out of here!
